The SS17 fashion report from Ballymena’s leading retail outlet, Fairhill is hot off the press with key trends for the season.
However, if you don’t know your poet’s sleeves from your girly ruffles, help is at hand with a fashion and beauty extravaganza in the Fairhill Centre on Saturday April 8th from 12-4pm. This free, all-inclusive Fashion & Beauty Fix event will offer clothing discounts; style advice, beauty makeovers and competitions.
Here’s a sneak peek of some of the key looks on show and available in-store now. Nothing screams spring more than brightly embroidered colours. From bags to dresses, coats and even boots, its time to get creative and embrace the artof embellishments. Bralettes are huge, but granted this revealing look should probably be worn with a certain degree of modesty – air on the side of caution and try layering for a more casual day look. Whereas last season was about big voluminous skirts that didn’t emphasise the waist, this season ladies it is time to show off your curves. Teaming a skirt or dress with a belt is the best way to highlight your assets. And if you thought sleeves were simple, forget it! you’ll need to go bigger and bolder to be fierce this season.
