Going Greek

Getting your yearly fix of moussaka, baklava and Ouzo is now easier than ever thanks to the new Belfast to Rhodes flight from tour operators Thomson and First Choice.

With a weekly flight every Wednesday, the new route for Summer 2016 gives Northern Ireland holidaymakers the opportunity to discover and explore the most visited island in Greece. Rhodes offers the best of everything whether you seek the perfect family getaway in the sun, lively nightlife or a cultural journey through past civilisations.

Chris Logan, Head of Ireland for Thomson and First Choice, said: “We are delighted to celebrate the departure of our inaugural flight to Rhodes. The Greek market is becoming increasingly popular in Northern Ireland and with the addition of this Rhodes flight available direct from Belfast International Airport, this is a trend which we expect to grow.”

Uel Hoey from Belfast International Airport added: “Rhodes has always been a popular destination from Belfast and we are really pleased to see it back on our departures screens.  We look forward to working with Thomson and First Choice to develop more services that holidaymakers want”
