The brainchild of Belfast-barman, Gerry White, Jawbox Gin launched less than two years ago and has already secured a cult following of gin lovers across the globe. Named after the ever-celebrated Belfast sink, colloquially known as the ‘Jawbox’, this classic dry, small batch, Irish gin is an ode to a time when the front door was left unlocked and at the heart of the kitchen was the big sink, where the craic was heard and unforgettable stories were shared.

Why not whip up one of these creations to get the story-telling and craic going this Christmas?
The five-star Fitzwilliam Hotel in Belfast has partnered with Jawbox Gin to find a ‘Five-Star Signature Cocktail’ to feature on its infamous cocktail menu in 2018. The competition is open to amateur gin-lovers who have a legendary cocktail recipe, perfect for international visitors and local revellers alike. Cocktails should use the base spirit of Jawbox Gin and feature ginger-ale as a mixer. For entry details visit @jawboxgin on social media before the closing date of December 15.

Jawbox is priced at £30 (70cl) and is available from all good licensed retailers including Winemark, Tesco, M&S and Amazon.
