My house is… Contemporary with plenty of room for the four of us. We have recently extended and created a new kitchen and living area. I love it.

I would describe my style as… Fairly smart but then again you would catch me often in a pair of trainers and jeans. To be honest I like to dress to the occasion and wear clothes that make me feel good.

My favourite shop is… Yoke in Belfast. I always come out of there with something a bit different and something that I can wear season after season plus the service is first class.

On my wish list is… Some new Barker brogues, a pair of Nike Pegasus trainers and a pair of Scotch n Soda Jeans (which I love because they fit).

My most recent purchase was… A Kenneth Cole suit from House of Fraser.

I’m inspired by… Fashion wise – David Beckham and Tom Ford.
Presenting wise – Chris Evans and Larry King.
Music Wise – Pete Tong.

My five desert island essentials would be.. My phone and a 4G signal which is probably not likely on a desert Island as I can’t even get GPRS in Portrush! My sunglasses, headphones, the Verve Album ‘Urban Hymns’ and my family – is that allowed?
The best piece of advice I’ve ever received is… When interviewing someone actually  listen to their answer don’t focus solely on the next question, that and work hard play hard!

My favourite holiday destination is… California. I have loved that place each time I’ve been. The weather, the atmosphere, the people. Just amazing.

The best place to eat in NI is… We are brilliant at serving food and drink, I couldn’t possibly just pick one. Hadskis and Home in Belfast and the Mermaid in Portrush.

In my free time I like to… Spend time with my wife and kids, play hockey and golf and catch up with friends over a pint.

I’m most relaxed when… I’m sleeping! Besides that when I’m out for a walk in the fresh air. It’s always great for clearing your head.

If I could live in another time and place it would be… The future, when Liverpool would have finally won the league and flying cars and time travel were possible.

My best gift… My first car on my 17th birthday. A volt blue Renault Clio. Quality and gives me so many fond memories.

My favourite song… Unfinished Sympathy by Massive Attack
