Make a Splash
Have fun jumping in puddles this week with WWT’s Big Splash at Castle Espie Wetland Centre, Comber from Monday 15th – Sunday 21st February 11am – 4pm.
At the Northern Ireland Puddle Jumping Championships kids will be able to compete against each other to see who can produce the biggest splash from their puddle jump. Marks will be awarded for creativity, enthusiasm and jumping style.
At the main puddle jumping competition arena, there will be practice puddles set up to help entrants perfect their splashing techniques then at the end of the week, Castle Espie’s Northern Ireland Puddle Jumping Champion and the overall UK winner will be crowned.
X Factor Tour
Watch last year’s final seven contestants -Anton, 4th Impact, Reggie ‘N’ Bollie, Louisa, Lauren, Ché and Mason – plus Sean Miley Moore in the X Factor Live Tour.
If you’ve followed their journey from judges’ houses to studio, all from the comfort of your sofa then now is your chance to see how they compare in the flesh when they take to the stage to sing favourites from the show.

NI Science Festival
Taking place from February 18th-28th the second NI Science Festival promises a celebration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics with over 100 events taking place across more than 25 venues. The festival will present a range of workshops, talks and interactive activities for young people, parents and schools. In the evening the festival will come alive with an eclectic mix of scientific debates, talks, theatre, comedy, music and film for adults. As well as the core themes of science, technology, engineering and maths, the event will be focusing on how science affects our everyday lives through exploring the science of food, music, art and sport.
